Our room at the Hostel And Motel had a balcony with a amazing view of the fjord. It was such a delight to wake up to that scenic beauty every morning. The cleanliness of the room and bathroom was great, and the staff was friendly and helpful, even when we arrived late at night. Despite some minor inconveniences like limited breakfast options and Wi-Fi connectivity issues, we found the location of the hostel to be prime, making up for any shortcomings. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its great location and fine views.

As a young family, we loved the modular residences with en suite bathrooms and balconies overlooking the fjord. the motel units were comfortable, well-equipped, and had blackout blinds. the breakfast had a good variety and there was a communal kitchen for preparing meals. the view from the balcony was breathtaking.
Felt safe, no complaints.

The view from the room was stunning, offering beautiful vistas of the fjord. the shared kitchen was well-equipped with a variety of utensils and pots and pans, making it easy to cook meals. the inclusion of breakfast was a convenient perk, with a wide selection of bread, jams, meats, eggs.
The beds were not very comfortable, and I woke up with a slightly sore back. the WiFi signal in the hostel was very poor, making it difficult to stay connected consistently.

The staff was super helpful, arranging everything from car rental to transfers. And who wouldn't love a sandy beach just 1.5 km away? Free Wi-Fi was a cherry on top.
Oh, but the intermittent weak Wi-Fi signal really made me appreciate the scenic views even more.

I always come back to this cozy place. The staff even helped return my forgotten hairbrush. It has Wi-Fi, a TV room, and laundry facilities. Perfect for a city break with hiking, cycling, canoeing, and a massage option. No regrets!

Convenient location for catching the morning car ferry to Geiranger. Great balcony with a stunning view of the fjord. Breakfast buffet had a good selection.
Unfriendly and unhelpful reception staff with language barriers. Room was in prefab boxes with bunk beds and a small bathroom with a faulty shower.

I got great value for my money at this hostel. The room was basic but comfortable, and the unbeatable view of the fjord made it worth it. The staff were also friendly and helpful.
The breakfast experience could have been improved with better quality breads.

We had a great stay at the hostel and motel in Hellesylt! the facilities were fantastic, with our own room that had a double bed and a bunk bed. It was such a treat to have our own shower and bedding included in the price, which is rare for hostels in this price range. the breakfast that was included was a nice surprise, and the communal kitchen area was clean and spacious. the staff were very helpful and friendly, showing us to our room and explaining the other facilities. the view from our balcony overlooking the fjord was absolutely breathtaking. it was great value for the price and we would highly recommend staying here. Cons: All was good 😊.

We had a fantastic stay at this hostel. The location was fine, with most rooms having a balcony that provided an awesome view of the fjord. The room and bathroom were clean, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Despite our late arrival, there was someone waiting to check us in and hand over the keys. The hostel had a nice lively atmosphere, and we especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast that was included in the price. The value for money was excellent, much better than other expensive hotels we have stayed in.
No issues.

The view from the hotel room was absolutely mesmerizing, with the fjords stretching out before us. It was the perfect base for exploring the area and taking in the natural beauty. The staff were warm and accommodating, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The location was convenient, with easy access to Hellesylt and just a short drive to the amazing Hellesylt Waterfall. it was a memorable experience for the whole family.
My wife says that the rooms were a bit too small for accommodating our family of five comfortably. She wished there were larger rooms available, especially for families with children.

The location was ideal, with a beautiful balcony view overlooking the fjord. Despite the language barrier with the check-in staff, they were still courteous and helpful. The room, although small and basic, was clean and the beds, though not the most comfortable, were adequate. The hot water and pressure in the bathroom were excellent. the breakfast provided a decent variety of options.
